Exploring cosmic realms of historical progressions, Lambertus Ekkart portrays the connections between growth and the journey to enlightenment. Utilizing subtle textures and smooth contours, Ekkart’s abstract designs convey a peaceful tone that flows from an internal core. Ekkart's paintings represent the passage of time and the lessons learned from one man and how they reflect beyond the individual.

Before moving to Florida 9 years ago, Ekkart traveled around the world with his career as a professional dancer, a perfumer and later as a free lance explorer. Ekkart started painting 7 years ago with classes at The South Florida Art Center where he was featured in three exhibitions. Ekkart sites the works of Robert & Sonia Delauney, DiChirico and Salvador Dali along with dance, perfumery, classical music and the blues as inspirational beacons for his creative development.

Lambertus has recently completed a book of poetry to correspond with the featured exhibition and he is donating his sales proceeds of the books and the paintings to the American Foundation For AIDS Research and the United Foundation For AIDS.
