Craig Carpentieri merges light and form to create a balance within his photography and sculptures. Utilizing an intuitive perspective to capture the subtleties of a scene, Carpentieri approaches each picture with a certain reverence in order to capture its energetic essence. He sculpts with the same principle as he configures pieces, with precise accents and structural design.

Nature compels human interaction, yet society is distracted from its roots. The goal is to reveal the inherent truth of creation with form and image in an expression of love. Craig’s art is a reminder that people must be mindful of their relationship to the rhythms of the natural world.

Craig sites his grandfather as a motivator for exploring the depth of a location through angle and lighting. For the past 15 years, Carpentieri, a Miami Beach native, has journeyed throughout the U.S. and Italy, photographing scenes as translations of momentary sensations.
